Are the Marcellus Shale drillers changing Pennsylvania's forests, farms, towns, rivers and lakes into an uninhabitable industrial wasteland?

I believe that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Constitution was ignored by the Corbett Administration and Pennsylvania Republicans.

As Senator Andy Dinniman states below. “Article 1, Section 27 of the Pennsylvania Constitution states, ‘The people have a right to clean air, pure water, and to the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment. Pennsylvania's public natural resources are the common property of all the people, including generations yet to come. As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people."

But I believe that the damage and destruction that the drilling operations can do have been grossly underestimated.

I believe the drillers exploiting our forests and streams for profit on the international commodity markets for sale to China, Japan and other countries will change our Commonwealth into a vast uninhabitable wasteland if we continue to follow the lead of Governor Corbett and his Department of Community and Economic Development CZAR C. Alan Walker.
